Vietnam brewery industry – Invesment highlights:

  • In Vietnam, beverages accounted for 41% in FMCG and beer holds 94% consumption of alcohol drinks, 31% of beverages.
  • Vietnam's population structure is still concentrated at the age of 15-54 (61.91%), which is attractive to brewing enterprises.
  • Saigon Beer Alcohol Beverage Corp. (Sabeco) and Hanoi Beer Alcohol Beverage Corp. (Habeco), the nation’s two largest beer companies, will submit Initial Public Offering plans to the government in 2017.
  • Vietnam is the country with the highest output of beer production in the world. While the world brewing situation witnessed decline and almost no growth in most countries, Vietnam is a bright spot when production output in 2015 reaches 4.67 billion liters of beer
